BIOGRAPHY
Born in Paris to bohemian parents who separated too quickly, Sorel follows the rhythm of his mother's changes and thus travels several corners of France.
At 15, Sorel began to play the guitar, an instrument more suited to his travels and the music he loves to listen to.
He composes his first mini album entitled La raison ... (this yellow capsule).
In 2008, he signed his first album Fuyons Now, with Tintamar / Warner, a Lyon label. The single I want a dream hit the charts. The same year, the title Aime-moi circulated on the airwaves4.
In 2010, director Michel Françoise invited him to record his new opus in the studios of / and with Francis Cabrel, in Astaffort. Sorel chooses as emblem a red S, eponymous from the album released on January 17, 2011 by M6Music.
At the same time, he wrote one of the paintings for the famous Le Crazy Horse cabaret for the Forever Crazy review.
Sorel also composes for others. In 2013 he appeared on Mickaël Miro's album "Le Temps de Sourire" with the song "We love each other on bleeding".
In June 2014 Sorel returned with the single Mes Yeux Noirs at SONYMUSIC, the clip of which was shot in Arizona.
In April 2015 Sorel intervened on Julie Zenatti's album Blanc by composing and writing the song “Introvert”.
In 2016 Sorel composed and co-wrote the song “You” for the winner of the M6 Rising Star music show, Corentin Grevost.
Sorel, who for years wanted to adapt the legendary work of Stendhal LE ROUGE ET LE NOIR (which inspired him to his nickname) into a musical comedy, finally sees his dream come true.
Indeed, joined in the adventure by the producer Albert Cohen (Les Dix Commandements, Mozart, Le roi soleil, 1789 ..etc ..), the singer Zazie as co-author of the texts, Alexandre Bonstein at the 'writing of the libretto, Laurent Seroussi co-staging with François Chouquet and William Rousseau as co-composer, co-director, he composes all the songs of the Opéra Rock Le Rouge et le Noir for a series of performances at the Palace in Paris from September 22, 2016.
Today Sorel is releasing his fourth album "El Heaven" on SonyATV between electro sensuality and frenzied Latin rhythms.
The video of the first excerpt “Now that I know” has already totaled more than 480,000 views.
