Only Reason

KevRevv released the debut single "Turning Point" in 2018 in collaboration with producer Pete Keating. Both shared a background at Boston College in Boston and collaborated in Los Angeles on 2 singles in rap and hip-hop. Without feeling the need to align with any single genre, Kev's lyrics feature double entendres, visuals, and stories. The unique aspect of Kev's music is his whistle that he infuses into the beats, hook, and chorus which add energy or create a haunting aura. He has begun branching into RnB, Dance, and Pop music while also taking risks with his voice and leveraging his background as an actor.

His background goes back to roots in Bangalore, India where he was born. After moving to the United States at age 5 Kev was blessed with opportunities to learn and create music from an elementary age. He was in the choir from age 6 through 12 when he began to pursue the violin. As part of an orchestra he would learn how to work with a team and be part of a creative music space every day. The program also involved music writing and more live performances at least twice a year. With this foundation of music he began to research lyrics and learn about the stories behind every verse which led to him eventually writing his own lyrics.
