An inner monologue with my five-year-old self. The song is about letting go of everything that is holding you back from the past. Listen to your inner voice -- the one connected directly to your soul, and not the voices of other people telling you what you should be or should become. On a more deeper level some of those voices may be a reflection of your own interpretations to things that had happened to you, and not just voices of others. Maybe an event that left making a conclusion. Conclusions like, I’m not good enough. I’m not loved, I can’t do it, and so on. You have to take some responsibility for that as well, and you have to move on. In order to move on, you have to forgive. Forgive others as well as forgive yourself.
