Machines
After "Vangeliana", the album inspired by the music of Vangelis, Jose Manuel Medina has written the music of this epic and futuristic work. The composition of the music took three months and the album production another three months. As for the sound, the album has been specially designed to be heard in headphones, because it is full of effects in stereo.
It is a concept album inspired by machines, robots and technological advances in the world of tomorrow. Through the eyes of the composer, we can imagine life in the futuristic city called Eureka. The album explores the music seen from the perspective of a woman-looking robot called Arcadia. A world where the army will be robots and humans are increasingly dependent on them.
All the tracks of the album are designed in a progressive way. They evolve very differently as the listener listens to them. More than 70 minutes of instrumental music in twelve songs, plus a bonus track. The main influences of the album are Jean-Michel Jarre, Vangelis and Kraftwerk.
