I'm Tired of Being Broke

The writing process for ‘I’m Tired of Being Broke’ surfaced when I was fresh out of university. The millennial crisis mentality kicked in hard. This is only normal because that limbo phase SUCKS. Thanks to Marius Brouwer for grafting this one with me. I wanted to capture an essence of that early 2000s sound and he helped make it happen. Loving Raymond Green on guitar for this one.

And the album art? Yes please! Let’s not forget the gorgeous Betty Liu for making this one happen. Standing barefoot over a bath to get this shot. A fun Chinese-South African collaboration happening there.
