'July - Happiness'

Happiness marks July’s first single album since the fourth full-length release, arriving as the artist’s first new work of 2008. The album’s title track, Happiness, captures the feeling of simple, often-overlooked joys through a piano-driven hip-hop beat. As a follow-up to last year’s notable track My Soul, this song features a soft piano melody that resonates warmly with listeners.

The album’s lead single, Cut in Love, contrasts with the album’s title, showcasing a faster tempo and a melancholic piano that expresses the sorrow of parting. Known as July's most uptempo track to date, it conveys the pain of separation solely through music, true to the artist’s signature style of expressing emotions instrumentally.
